Marketing Intern | InterContinental Cascais-Estoril

The Marketing Intern will assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive revenue for the hotel’s rooms, restaurants, and event spaces. You will help bring the IHG brand to life by creating engaging content, managing digital platforms, and supporting promotional events.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation & Social Media

• Support the management of the hotel’s social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Capture high-quality photos and videos of the property, food dishes, and events for promotional use.
• Assist in drafting engaging copy for social media posts, newsletters, and blog articles in English.

2. Digital Marketing & E-Commerce

• Assist in updating the hotel’s website content and ensuring third-party booking sites (OTAs) have current images and descriptions.
• Monitor online guest reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor and Google, drafting professional responses.
• Support SEO (Search Engine Optimization) efforts and track the performance of digital ad campaigns.

3. Public Relations & Events

• Assist in organizing and hosting media visits, influencer stays, and local community events.
• Help maintain a database of local media contacts, partners, and VIP clients.
• Monitor press coverage and assist in preparing monthly marketing reports for the corporate office.

4. Brand Standards & Collateral

• Ensure all in-house signage, menus, and brochures align with IHG’s global brand guidelines.
• Coordinate with graphic designers or printers for the production of marketing materials.
