Night Auditor

As a Night Auditor at IHG, you will ensure the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight shift. You’ll be responsible for balancing the day’s financial activity, preparing reports, assisting guests, and ensuring safety and service standards are maintained throughout the night.

• Perform nightly audit of all hotel income and revenue transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile and balance daily cash and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and distribute daily management reports.
• Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
• Ensure the safety and security of the property by conducting regular hotel walks and monitoring guest activity.
• Coordinate early morning guest requests such as wake-up calls, transportation, and special arrangements.
• Work closely with security, housekeeping, and maintenance to address any overnight issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all shift activities and incidents.
• Follow IHG brand standards, policies, and procedures at all times.

• Previous front office or night audit experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in using hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera or similar).
• Ability to work independently and stay alert during overnight hours.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hotel or hospitality degree is a plus.
