Plant Supervisor

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Engineering Director and his/her delegate, and within the limits of established IHC and local Hotel policies and procedures, is responsible for the effective operation of the plant room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Checks log readings and assure proper operation of equipment and machinery in the hotel on a continuous basis.
• Carries out daily testing and water treatment of Chillers, boilers and cooling towers’ water.
• Records and handles maintenance orders of different trades and supervise for the proper completion of jobs.
• Carries out Energy conservation and control in order to reduce energy costs in the hotel.
• Carries out plant preventive and routine maintenance.
• Maintains proper conditions of all equipment rooms.
• Maintains log records of all-important information pertaining to operation of plant and engineering personnel on his assigned duty.
• Assists HLP supervisor to train Engineering staff for the efficient operation of equipment and machinery.
• Demonstrates understanding and awareness of all company Policies and procedures relating to health hygiene and Fire life safety.
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education:

Technical degree in electronics

Skills:

Ability to follow precise instructions

Physically fit and good eyesight

Good hand-eye coordination

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience
