Role Purpose
Responsible for supporting hotels in enhancing revenue and market performance sharing in depth data analysis and recommending strategies for execution.
Key Accountabilities
1. Work remotely as the direct revenue leader for 2-4 hotels holding daily/weekly/monthly revenue generation calls with the hotels (depending on the service level of the hotel)
2. Maintain IHG system and revenue process expertise status for self.
3. Work closely with RSPD-Revenue Services & Sr PRM community to find ways of improving performance, share agreed best practice and successes.
4. Actively collaborate with cross functional teams to drive the needs of the business – including tools, data, reporting and processes.
5. Deliver SL’s in line with the needs of the BU for driving Room Revenue, ToRe, RevPAR, RGI performance.
6. Ensure the effective roll out of new tools, system releases & programs ensuring team education and adoption.
7. Stay up to date with intelligence in the hotel industry & market(s) and use insight to drive revenue performance for the hotels within the portfolio.
8. Provide commercial team with insight into hotel performance and outlook and support with budgeting and RFP cycle.
9. As needed, support NHOP or conversion set-up.
10. Analyzing competitor and market pricing and trends to come with the right pricing strategy by segment and for each revenue stream.
11. Drive system adoption scores for the portfolio hotels.
12. Ongoing system health-checks, content/third party audits.
13. Creation, presentation and uploading forecast in internal systems.
14. Prepare for and conduct Revenue meetings in line with the Revenue Management Cycle for all revenue streams to identify risks opportunities, potential revenue driving activities or strategic direction shifts.
15. Participation in business reviews meetings with both corporate and owners.
16. Analysis and report on EOM performance and RMIs / RM Dashboard.
Required Education, Experience, Technical Skills, and Knowledge
Education
• University Degree or Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Experience
• Min 3 years’ experience in Revenue Management, ideally in all revenue streams
• Revenue Management Tools and Systems (Ideas, Duetto, EzRMS, Concerto, or other RMS)
Technical Skills and Knowledge
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to impact and influence remotely
• Strong Excel Skills
• System and Technology savvy
