YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

  • Responsible for the in-house point-of-sale materials and collateral such as brochures, presentations, monthly promotional posters, banners and leaflets, and ad-hoc announcement posters
  • Execute jobs from briefs in the form of Project Requisition Forms
  • Work on the concept and execution for the design of any job
  • Liaise with Purchasing Department to brief suppliers for production when approval is obtained from all concerned parties for layout and copy
  • Maintain collateral and conduct occasional audit
  • Co-ordinate generic IHG merchandise and hotel brand merchandise, including gift items
  • Co-ordinate hotel brand standards collateral
  • Proofread copy of advertising, collateral and press releases where appropriate
  • Assist with brand standards policing
  • Develops the knowledge and skill capability on-property to create a winning competitive advantage to be in Marketing, PR & Communication
  • Works with the team in preparing the weekly/monthly social media content calendar for all social media channels and execute postings
  • Update and improve website with content where appropriate
  • Create Influencer marketing plan and host Influencers when they are at the resort
  • Actively identify and engage influencers to share content about the property with their followers to drive awareness for the resort
  • Assist with arranging media visits and handling of media at the resort
  • Develop press releases for the resort and communicate to media through pitching
  • Maintain and actively update media database
  • Actively ‘listens’ to guest sentiment on-line and ensure the resort responds accordingly
  • Continuously keeping up-to-date with technological development and improved ways of working and suggesting those to team members and managers
  • Undertake additional duties as requested by the Director of Marketing & Communications
  • Be a friendly face and helping hand to our guests
  • Look smart – wear your uniform with pride
  • Other ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done
  • May assist with other duties as assigned by management
