You’ll be working with a friendly, motivated team who you will recruit and lead with your distinctive style and work with them to develop their full potential and ensure everyone provides genuine heartfelt care to our guests. You will be responsible to communicate with the guests and anticipate their needs. Profound knowledge of guests services and of all food and beverage products and services.
Regarding the role, it’s as the job title says really, you are responsible for providing the most memorable In Room Dining experience in the area, leading your team to success.
Responsible for answering all telephone calls and prioritizing said calls.
Should have very good telephone etiquettes, upbeat and pleasant tone of voice.
Directly involved in the order taking and order placing process while dealing with guest requests and orders, courteously, efficiently and promptly when required
Have good knowledge of the outlet’s and ongoing promotions in other R&B outlets
Welcome and greet guests with a friendly demeanor.
Seat guests based on preferences and reservations.
Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials.
Maintain a clean and organized hostess station.
Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
Coordinate seating during peak hours to optimize service flow.
Foster a positive dining experience through attentive service.
Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient operations.
Uphold standards for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Compile all guest comments and report them to the Management for further actions. These comments are to be shared during the daily briefings conducted with the culinary team as well.
Responsibilities & Means:
Ensure smooth communication with the service team to enhance guest experiences.
Technical Responsibilities:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to the hosting role.
Replacement and Temporary Mission:
Support other roles as needed during busy periods or staff shortages.
Relations:
Maintain effective communication with guests and team members. Guest database is to be created and more importantly to be used regularly to maintain the connections with all guests
Training and Human Resources:
Participate in training to enhance knowledge of service standards and hospitality practices.
Miscellaneous:
Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
Confidentiality:
Safeguard guest information and operational procedures
It’s a physical role and although there are the usual meetings, briefings and of course emails to check, you will be on your feet most of the day out and about chatting with your guests and your team, so fitness will be key for you, although reasonable adjustments will be made where we can. We would love it if you were multi-lingual, but it’s not essential.

Proven experience as a Hostess or in a guest-facing role within a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or lifestyle hospitality environment
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a naturally warm, polished, and professional demeanor
Strong guest-orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and create personalized, memorable dining experiences
Impeccable grooming and presentation standards aligned with luxury lifestyle brand image
Confident in managing reservations, seating plans, and guest flow while maintaining a calm and composed presence
Ability to handle guest inquiries, preferences, and concerns with discretion, empathy, and efficiency
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring seamless coordination with service and kitchen teams
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment while maintaining service excellence
Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement
Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage
Familiarity with reservation systems and POS platforms preferred
Knowledge of food & beverage concepts, service etiquette, and luxury dining standards
