You’ll be working with a friendly, motivated team who you will recruit and lead with your distinctive style and work with them to develop their full potential and ensure everyone provides genuine heartfelt care to our guests. You will also work alongside our Chefs and Banqueting team, and we know that between you all we will really make a name for ourselves.
Control the requisition of beverages and all supplies to maintain par stock for smooth operation.
Brief personnel on preparations, service and content of drink list.
Work hand-in-hand with the Head Bartenders & Outlet manager to ensure all Beverages items are as they need to be.
Maintains proper records of Sales, guest complaints, solutions and all concerns pertaining to personnel
or equipment in appropriate logbooks
Execute the general responsibility necessary to minimize costs in operating the restaurant and achieving sales goals.
Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff.
Ensure that the Hygiene is being respect without failure and report any deviation to the management.
Regarding the role, it’s as the job title says really, you are responsible for providing a vibrant environment for our guests to ‘kick back’ in and chill out with their favourite beer or cocktail, leading your team to success.
Monitor standard recipes for all beverages.
Responsible for the smooth of coordinating in serving snacks and beverages in the bar to ensure compliance. with SOPs, safety regulations and procedures and to ensure an optimal level of service, quality and hospitality.
Coordinate the bar staffs including bartenders.
Responsible for the maintenance/sanitation of the bar areas and equipment to protect the assets and ensure quality service and control par stock.
Supervise the bartender and bar staffs.
Ensures a smooth operation.
Ensure grooming and general appearance and hygiene of staff conforms to standards
Ensures 100% guest satisfaction by providing memorable service to the guest.
Attend to guest complaints, requests or inquiries regarding beverage and services
Ensure a minimum of breakage and spoilage by handling the assets carefully.
Always have “Can do” attitude.
Always smile in front of the guest.
Participate in the monthly and daily beverage physical inventory and monitors the activities.
Ensure all necessary arrangements and preparations are made for normal and special events; coordinates activities with Banquet, Engineering and other departments.
May be assigned to perform duties in Restaurant, Room Service or Banquet when needed
Follow up with each employee to ensure assigned duties are carried out.
Ensure adequate supplies of materials and requisitions for general supplies.
Ensure all fixtures and operating equipment is in good working condition
Check all bars for repair of furniture and fixtures; coordinates with Engineering.
Conduct/Participate in daily briefings and monthly communication meetings to discuss various aspects of beverage service and preparation.
Participate in regular meetings to coordinate activities and discuss operational improvements.
Conduct regular stock checks and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Implement effective stock rotation practices to minimize waste and spoilage.
Adhere and assist Beverages and Bar manager in all aspects of the beverage program
To support other venues (when required by your manager and directions) when required ensuring that guest experiences are always protected and prioritised;
It’s a physical role and although there are the usual meetings, briefings and of course emails to check, you will be on your feet most of the day out and about chatting with your guests and your team, so fitness will be key for you, although reasonable adjustments will be made where we can. We would love it if you were multi-lingual, but it’s not essential.
