Restaurant & Bar Team Leader- InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef

What is the job?

Under the general direction of the Food and Beverage Outlet Manager or designate Manager and within the limited of established InterContinental Hotels Group provides a food and beverage service to guests in an unobtrusive and personalised manner consistent with established outlet operations policies and procedures.

Your day to day

• Be fully conversant with the menu and daily specials when taking orders from guests, upselling wherever possible
• Provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following hotel standards of performance
• Ensure all guest requests are actioned accordingly and presented correctly 
• Adhere to policies for guidelines on presentation, grooming and punctuality 
• Develop and maintain cohesive working relationships within immediate team, and wider hotel team 
• Willing and able to work a flexible roster

• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties in a way that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company 
• Time management skills
• Neat personal presentation 
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (QLD RSA)
