What will the internship be like?
As a Sales Trainee you will learn to:
Your day-to-day
- Support in the hotel's MICE sales processes, functions include, but are not limited to, support in MICE related RFP's, follow up, negotiation and contracting of group related business.
- Support the MICE segment in the hotel, from solicitation to completion of group transactions.
- Assist in drafting and/or accurately reviewing all sales contracts, rate agreements and/or banqueting/catering orders.
- Regularly follow up with clients during and after check-out to ensure client satisfaction and secure future bookings.

- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to connect and build rapport with a diverse range of colleagues and customers.
- Display excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Driven and ambitious to consistently deliver and exceed service standards.
- Candidates must possess strong analytic and presentation skills as the role will frequently interact with marketing, business development and sustainability personnel in customer facing sales opportunities.
