We’re looking for a Security Manager who is responsible for leading the hotel’s safety and security operations, ensuring the protection of guests, employees, and property. This role supervises multiple shifts and a large team, including Security Guards, Employee Transportation personnel, and Departmental Supervisors. The Security Manager establishes standards, procedures, and training programs to maintain a safe and secure environment in alignment with regulatory requirements, owners’ policies, and company standards.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Lead day-to-day security operations, supervise staff, set goals, and provide coaching and training
● Ensure safety of guests, team members, and hotel assets, enforcing policies, procedures, and compliance with local laws
● Plan and conduct patrols, fire drills, first-aid, and emergency preparedness; manage incident reporting and key control
● Liaise with authorities, guests, and external stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and high service standards
● Assist with departmental budgeting, monitor expenses, and oversee security projects and renovations.
● Promote a culture of safety, security awareness, and staff development.
What We need from you:
● Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
● Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in security management, preferably in hotels or resorts.
● Strong leadership, team management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
● Proficient in safety, security, first-aid, and emergency procedures.
● Ability to manage multiple shifts, supervise large teams, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
