Role Purpose
The Senior Analyst role supports the EMEAA region by transforming complex, multi-source data into insightful dashboards that drive business performance. Based within the Performance Improvement and Operations Support (PIOS) team, the role enables data-led decision making by delivering clear, accurate, and timely reporting.
By building strong business knowledge and will respond to stakeholder needs and identify opportunities for insight. A key part of the role involves supporting the automation of reporting processes to increase efficiency and enhance the team’s overall analytical capability.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards that are accurate, timely, and aligned with business needs.
- Oversee data processes in GCP and Tableau Prep and Alteryx to ensure clean, structured, and reliable data for reporting.
- Manage Hotel Metrics by ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely processing to support performance tracking.
- Support performance programmes across EMEAA by providing relevant data analysis and reporting insights.
- Respond to stakeholder queries by building strong business knowledge and delivering clear, actionable insights.
- Drive automation and process improvement to streamline reporting workflows and enhance analytical capabilities.
Key Skills & Experiences
Education
- 4+ years experience of using data to drive evidence-based decision making.
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, other related field of studies (Information Technology, Operations Research) or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Technical Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- SQL (GCP preferred): Intermediate to advanced knowledge; R or Python beneficial but not essential.
- Data Visualisation: Strong Tableau skills; Power BI experience also considered.
- Alteryx: Working knowledge of Alteryx would be advantageous.
- Excel: Intermediate to advanced proficiency, including data manipulation and analysis.
- Workforce Optimisation: Knowledge of workforce optimisation data, KPIs and systems
- Stakeholder Management: Able to manage requests efficiently and provide insight through business understanding.
- Problem Solving: Handles technical challenges with a calm, solution-focused approach.
- Project Management: Capable of delivering small-scale projects on time and within budget.
