About the role
As Spa Supervisor you will play a key role in our guest services team focused on inspiring and motivating a dedicated team of therapists and aiding the Spa Manager in the day to day running of the spa.
This is a rare opportunity to provide the InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef guests holistic services and treatments that will deliver a wellness experience that relaxes, rejuvenates, and educates all whilst working for a global brand in a unique ultra-luxury environment.
About you
Must hold a recognised qualification in Beauty Therapy and have full working rights in Australia. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, polished, and professional team player who consistently delivers exceptional service and goes above guest expectations.
The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to the beauty, health, and wellness industry, with a genuine passion for creating personalised and memorable guest experiences. Experience delivering treatments within a hotel or resort environment is highly regarded.
You’ll perform up to 5 treatments per day, with designated days allocated to administrative and supervisory duties. This balance allows you to remain hands-on with guests while also supporting team leadership, rostering, training, reporting, and the smooth day-to-day operation of the spa.
In this role, you’ll support daily spa operations, lead and motivate the team on shift, and ensure service standards, cleanliness, and presentation are consistently maintained at a high level. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly regarded, along with the ability to mentor team members, manage guest feedback professionally, and contribute to achieving revenue and retail targets.
