Role Purpose
Reviews and analyzes hotel performance and advises Management Team on performances against KPIs. Liaise between hotels and regional corporate offices on month end, long term plans, budgeting and forecasting aspects. Maximizes profitability of hotels through benchmarking / best practices and ensures sound controls and accounting standards are in place as per company Policy & Procedures to safeguard assets and return to the owners.
Including franchise and un-branded hotels management.
Key Accountabilities
- Review and analyze Long Term Plans / Annual Plans / Forecast of Hotels to ensure they are accurate, robust and attainable and challenges hotel teams accordingly.
- Monitor performance of hotels through IHG management tools (EFPM, IBP and benchmarking) and flow through and analysis of key indicators to ensure returns are maximized. Collaborate with pre-opening team re New Hotels openings/conversions, and ensure that the hotel setup is in compliance with IHG standards.
- Drive compliance with IHG Hotel Accounting and other relevant Policies and Procedures. Where applicable, ensure hotel Internal Audit recommendations and/or Control Self Assessment (CSA) action plans are implemented to strengthen control environment and minimize error rates.

- Support interaction with owner representatives to drive alignment on business objectives (including / in particular monitor and follow up collection issues, resolve disputes, clarify queries in coordination with area and corporate offices and Business Service Centre to ensure all IHG fees and charges are paid to IHG when due).
- Drive succession planning and talent development within the region. In consultation with Human Resources and of Finance & Business Support Operations – Greater China, oversee any terminations and key finance appointments to ensure right candidates are hired to elevate quality of team.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or similar supervisory position in a multi-unit role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Qualifications
- Degree in accounting, economics or commerce preferred
- Professional accounting qualifications (eg. CPA) preferred
